We are looking for a Merchandiser to manage our inventory of Japanese artisan handcrafted knives, work closely with Japanese suppliers and eventually establish a smooth operation flow of our online marketplace.

What you’ll do:
- Manage inventory level, replenishment and online listings
- Create, follow up and purchase orders
- Be in charge of SKU management, inventory labelling, and stock checkin
- Analyze sales figures, customers reactions and market trends to anticipate product needs
- Monitor and control incoming shipments
- Maintain and update records and system data
- Communicate with suppliers for order placement, shipment schedule and payments
- Handle ad hoc tasks as assigned by the management
You should have:
- Relevant working experience in e-Commerce, supply chain or inventory management preferred. Fresh graduates with right attitude and skillset are welcome
- A basic understanding of e-Commerce platform e.g Shopify
- Entrepreneurial spirit that enjoys autonomy and sense of ownership
- Strong work ethic to get problems solved especially in the face of unfamiliarity
- Good interpersonal skills and team spirit
- Superb attention in details and able to maintain an organized database
- Good command of written English
- Some knowledge of Japanese language is a plus
